Sammie Back completed her bachelor internship with us some time ago. During this period, she delved into literature on the addictive effects of N2O, commonly known as laughing gas. An addiction is diagnosed using the DSM-5, a diagnostic and statistical manual for identification of mental health disorders. In this study, Sammie lays the groundwork for evidence that establishes the addictive nature of laughing gas, confirming consistently at least four criteria of substance use disorder outlined in the DSM-5.
