I hold a research master in Clinical & Cognitive Neuroscience and have a background in biomedical sciences. In April 2023, I started my PhD at Erasmus University Rotterdam. My research interests have always revolved around mental health and uncovering the underlying cognitive mechanisms. Alongside my supervisors Janna Cousijn and Emese Kroon I will investigate the effects of cannabis on the brain and mental health in both medical and recreational users. We will take a crosscultural approach and include users from 5 countries in experienced sample methods and neuroimaging studies. By doing this, we aim to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the positive and negative effects of cannabis and enhance user health and safety as well as inform policy and treatment options.
